The short version

This website sets no cookies, embeds no analytics tools and loads nothing from third-party servers. Fonts, images and scripts all sit on the same server as the site itself. That is why you see no cookie banner here: there is simply nothing for you to consent to.

Server logs

When you open the site, your browser transmits technical data that our host stores briefly in log files: the address requested, the time, the amount of data transferred, the browser type and the IP address. This data is needed to deliver the site and to fend off attacks.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in secure and functioning operation. This data is not combined with any other data.

Hosting

The site is hosted by a provider within the European Union, with whom a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.

Provider: IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Deutschland

Enquiry form

If you write to us through the form, your name, email address and message are sent to us by email. Optional details such as phone number, dates of stay and number of guests are included if you fill them in.

We use these details solely to answer your enquiry and to prepare a possible booking. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures).

Your enquiry stays in our mailbox for as long as we need it to reply and follow up, and for no longer than three years. After that we delete it. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

To guard against automated submissions the form contains an invisible field and a timestamp. Neither is stored or evaluated.

Links to other sites

The links to Booking.com, to Instagram and, in the imprint, to the agency that built this site are plain links. Nothing is loaded from those sites and nobody there learns of your visit unless you click. Once you do, that provider’s privacy terms apply.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to information about the data we hold about you, and to its correction, deletion or restriction. You may also object to processing and request data portability.

An informal message to the address above is enough.

Right to complain

If you believe we are not processing your data lawfully, you may complain to the supervisory authority:

Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at
